Hey,

I have one of the first iPhone 6 Plus Model A1524.

I notice that ther is no battery logo when the battery is empty and the iPhone does not turn on anymore.

On previous iPhone models it showed a big battery icon with red blinking line and the Lightning Connector Symbol.

But now my iPhone 6 Plus does only turn the Display background light on for those few seconds.

Only if I plug the Lightningcabel in the iPhone and charger it shows me the battery icon.

No real problem but has anyone noticed the same?

Maybe the Icon is missing in the Firmware?

Tried to reset the Phone via iTunes and DFU but no change.
This is since iOS 8 and continues till last iOS 8.2 Beta.

Sorry for my maybe bad English. :)

It may just be that the battery is dead enough at that time that there's not enough power available to display anything.

I wonder if it's an iOS thing, and not just an iPhone 6+ thing.

My girlfriends iPhone 5C didn't show one yesterday when I tried to turn it on after it died.

I was just going to say the same thing. Can the 6 Plus's battery ever get to empty? I've yet to see less than 30%, even after two days without charging, lol.

Yea same here even with heavy use, including neflix etc. And plugging my phone up before bed, I have never seen below 20% hell of battery if u ask me. Don't know how these guys are running the battery empty. A mean if they charge the phone up when it needs charging they will never have this problem to begin with.

I guess they forgot the @3x assets for bootloader.

The Apple logo also looks upscaled during boot, and resizes last second.
