iPhone 6 plus AT&T Apple store

Can you walk into an apple store and request to purchase a full price AT&T iPhone 6 plus and use it with your AT&T no contract plan? Assuming it will be unlocked or is that not an option yet?

Typically it isn't a problem, but I've heard that sometimes they'll tell you no.

FYI, the Verizon model is the one to get. It's got all the same bands as the AT&T model, plus easy to activate Verizon compatibility out of the box.

So I should be able to walk in and ask for a full price iPhone 6 plus Verizon or AT&T if in stock of course
