iPhone 6 Plus does not Ring ?

My phone is not ringing for calls or alerting for messages.
Speaker seems fine otherwise.

Do not disturb is off, notifications / phone shows a ringtone is selected.

Any suggestions???

go to settings and then sounds. Then under sounds and vibration patterns, toggle selection under ringtone

Thanks for the reply. Turned out it was the hardware switch on the side had got bumped.

So OSMac, I went through the entire registration just to say thanks to you for helping me solve the same issue.

It's amazing how many people freak out, only to find it was the silent switch. One of very few physical buttons on the phone.

I remember the guy that factory reset his phone, and then came here and made this long winded thread only to have someone say something like "stupid question, but have you tried checking your silent switch?"

I'd really have to find the biggest toilet i can find so i can flush myself if that was me.
