Why are the pictures that I take not full screen? They were full screen on my iPhone 4 and 5. Why not 6?! How are videos full screen but not pictures?

The proportions between what the camera takes and the screen isn't the same. It never has been on an iPhone.

On the iPhone 5 and newer, the video is the same proportions as the screen. Because of that, they are fit to fill it.

Photos: 4:3
iPhone 4: 3:2
iPhone 5,5s,6,6+: 16:9

"Photos" in 4:3 can't been truly "full screen" on any iPhone.
