iPhone 6 plus gaming battery life

I just measured how much battery life a graphically intensive game like Modern Combat 5 would use on a ip6 plus

A half hour session used 20% battery, so I would barely get 2.5 hours out of a full charge on this game!!

That means it's using over 4 times the power of normal use. Seems a lot, no?

I would think a graphics intensive game would take a lot of power just like how a graphics intensive game on a PC would work the graphics card quite hard.
