With the bigger screen, wonder why they didn't add another row of icons just above the dock? Is it because of the new landscape mode?
 
I'm sure that you can put icons there if you'd like to, but what they are showing you is the default layout.
 
I really hope the iPad gets the new iPhone 6+ landscape home screen.

While I'm at it, I wish the regular 6 got the same landscape functionality as the 6+.

it already has landscape mode...

and of course it looks like you can place more apps all the way down do you not see space? They probably didn't want to show them all filled up because it looks too cluttered.

Apple's site also says you can enable a kinda zoom mode where the 5 rows scale up and fill the screen pretty much just like before but bigger
 
So can the 6 do Home screen landscape as well or is it 6+ only? I wasn't too sure after talking with some people. Some said the 6 can do it, some say it can't. Anyone know for sure?
