This is another piece of bad news. Firstly the 1gb of ram in the 6 plus when people were complaining about tab reloads.

The native resolution of iphone 6 plus is 2208 x 1242.

This is then down sampled to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) to output on the screen we have. Now this may or may not be answerable now, but maybe this down sampling process could be eating up system resources?

And no one expected the 1080p resolution for the iphone 6, most of us thought it was very strange when they announced it because it will simply cause too many scaling issues to do it natively but clearly apple found this interesting solution to that problem.

If anyone is asking why they done this then it is because its cheap. 1080p screens are everywhere and apple decided to utilise whats already out there for once, that is why you have not seen industry standard resolutions like 480p and 720p till now.
