On a related topic, was the landscape homescreen option supposed to be available on both iPhone 6 and 6 Plus? I know only the Plus has special landscape views in default apps.

It's weird. Many of us are buying this as a tablet replacement (ie phablet).

Only iPhone 6 Plus supports homescreen and stock apps in landscape.
