Hi all,
I recently bought an iPhone 6 Plus, 128GB in Space Grey.
All seems great but I seem to be having some issues with the volume on my phone - music, ringing and notifications. They seem to be much softer compared to my previous iPhones.
When we adjust the volume on the phone, there are 16 levels to indicate the loudness of the phone. By the time I lower the volume to about the 5th - 6th level, its as if my phone is on silent mode. I can't hear anything anymore be it calls, notifications for text and whatsapp, the locking sound and even music.
What's even weirder is when I take photos or screenshots, the first one I take has no shutter sound. Only the subsequent ones taken will there be the shutter sound.
Even on full volume, I miss texts and calls when the phone is in my pocket.
I don't believe this is normal? I've googled and tried everything from turning off noise cancellation and turning on hearing aid mode. There are also no plastic films on my phone covering any of the speaker and microphone holes.
Please help! Thanks
