Based on Apple's iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Xcode's 6+ simulator, some developers believe the iPhone 6 Plus may be rendering at 1242-by-2208 then downscaling to 1080-by-1920

Basically, unlike any other iPhone (including the iPhone 6), one pixel on iOS may not equal one pixel on the device. Thoughts?

Note: if it does work this way (iOS is being downscaled on the 6+), an OS update could fix it.
