How is the power draw for your iPhone 6 plus running iOS 9 beta 2 on the El Cap DP 2?
I'm not sure how it used to be on DP 1, but I think it was similar to DP 2.
Mine is currently as follows on late 2013 13" rMBP:
Current Available (mA): 1000
Current Required (mA): 500
Extra Operating Current (mA): 1000
Sleep current (mA): 1000
On Mavericks and Yosemite the Extra Operating Current used to be 1600 mA, now it's just 1000 mA.
Now I'm not sure if it's the iOS 9 beta 2 that's dictating the current amperage or the computer is delivering less energy on its own accord.
Of course the 2.1 amp current is way beyond what the iPhone 6 plus needs to function and charge, but still I find this to be a perplexing occurrence.
EDIT:
Checked with my iPad 3 running iOS 9 beta 2 and it gives the same figures as the iPhone 6 plus.
Now I understand why it was so painfully slow to charge (more painful than usual iPad 3
) when charging via computer USB.
