Recommend? If you don't like what the UI does with it off, then turn it on. If you like what the UI does with it off, then leave it alone.

It does not matter if it is on or off. YOU decide if you want it and if not you can turn it off. Some have claimed it makes them dizzy, so adjust as you wish as it is just a simple animation.
