IPhone 6 plus replacement device looks better?

For some odd reason my "new" iPhone 6 plus colors look more vibrant and the screen looks brighter at the same %. Any reason why?
 
Your old display could have had a yellow tint. A bluer tint will make the screen brighter and colors will 'pop' more.
