I feel that I needed a bigger storage and would like to return my 16GB for a 64GB. I bought it like 12 days ago, is the return time still 2 weeks? Because tomorrow is thanksgiving, the Apple Stores in my area are all closed.

Holiday return policy

Look up http://store.apple.com/us/help/returns_refund

"Items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between November 1, 2014 and December 25, 2014, may be returned through January 8, 2015."

So you still have time for return, if you purchased via Apple Online Store. I took advantage of this generous return policy last year. I had purchased a Wi-Fi iPad Air on launch day (early November 2013); I returned it to exchange for a cellular model just after Christmas.

I purchased it on Apple website, but I picked it up at a local Apple store. does it still count toward online purchase?

I could be wrong but the holiday return does not apply for iphones.

According the website, iPhone is counted toward items purchased.

But the question is, if I purchased it on Apple website, but picked it up at the Apple Store, does it still count toward online purchase?

14 days.. Unless you have an awesome manager. Bought my off contract plus release day for att exchanged it 2 months later for an off contract vzw model :)

It does. As long as you purchase it full price. If you purchase on the contract and your contract kicks in in say 14 days and then you return the iphone 30 days later, that wouldnt make much sense would it.

Why did you exchange att for vzw model?

The Verizon model can work on all carriers. Verizon will not activate a phone that is not actually a Verizon phone on their network.

att would not unlock my phone even tho i paid full price.. and i wanted a white/silver. the black got boring so apple happen to have a 64gb 6+ so i swapped it.

I'm pretty sure purchased online and picked up in store counts as purchased online. If you want to check call the local Apple store, they should tell you you'll have to return through mail if you decide to.

I just returned my 16GB space gray iPhone 6 Plus today and got a 64GB gold color one. I returned it on day number 13.

The reason I returned was because 16GB was too small for me, I feel that I run out of storage space.

I was lucky that they also give me a $50 iTunes card.

Why did you picked 16GB in the first place anyway ?

I have always been using the 16GB since I have the iPhone 1 in 2007. Never really run out of space with my subsequent iPhone purchases. I thought that I will have enough of space.

However, I realized I am using my iPhone 6 Plus to do more and more things due to its bigger screen size, therefore, running out of space.

16 gb is pathetic, 32 should have been the base model.

I don't consider that lucky since it was Black Friday Deal that Apple gives to anyone who buys their product on Black Friday that they get a gift card on top of their purchases.

Curious.. does the 14 day policy start when you purchase on Apple.com or from the date it was delivered?

Date it was delivered. Its in the fine print. Otherwise, can you imagine of the clock starts ticking from the time of purchase and it takes 13 days to deliver, that wouldn't make much sense.
