IPhone 6 Plus Software Problem?

I am on 64gb 6+, also crash when switching apps under standard mode. So far no problem on zoom mode.
 
The article states that occurs on iPhone 6 plus 128GB when people have over 700 apps. I'd say that pretty much reduces the affected folks to a minority.

The thread in questions has over 9,200 views and more than 60 responses, and it details constant crashing issues that affect certain devices. It appears the bug affects 128GB iPhone 6 Plus models that have more than 700 applications installed, but Apple has yet to confirm what the problem is.

I'm not dismissing the issue, but rather pointing this out, to gain the proper perspective.

700 apps? I only need like 3 or 4 fart apps so what are the other 695 apps for?
 
My dad has this problem on his 6+ 64g and no he doesnt have any where near 700 apps. We tried everything to fix it and nothing. I hope he can get a new one at the Apple store where he bought it.
