Love my new iPhone 6 Plus and am currently using the apple silicon case with it. I'd love to be able to use it without a case though but just find it too slippery.

What I thought could help is just a clear plastic skin of some type that would just give it a bit of extra grip but without changing the look of the device. Has anyone seen or used such a thing?

Thanks.

I agree. The 6 and 6 Plus are very smooth and slippery. I like the skins from bestskinsever.com. Been using them for years. Only $8.99 for a 6 Plus skin, if you don't want screen protection too. You can get matte or glossy. The matte is a newer option. It's not glossy at all, and it really looks like there is nothing on the phone. However, it's not very tactile. I got this one for my Plus, and while I like the look of it, it's very smooth, but not quite as smooth as the naked phone. The glossy skins are a bit more 'grippy'.

I returned my phone a week after I got it. I wanted the 128 GB, but they didn't have any. I now have one on order. I think I'll order the glossy skin this time around.

Phantomskinz matte option skin provides a better grip than Bestskinsever. I have them both and phantomskinz is the better of the two. It's more expensive, but if you want a better grip without a case that's the skin to go with.

Does eGrips have a product that wraps up around the sides? I think that's the hardest part to get a grip on when picking up the 6 or 6+ from a table. Once you grip the sides and pick it up, I'm not sure how much that back grip actually helps.

I use cheap XtremeGuard Skin / Sticky Screen Protector

I've been using a back screen protector (sticky one that requires wet apply) from XtremeGuard and am quite happy with its quality especially for the price.

They sell 'back only protector' for $6.99 but they usually have a promo code for 85~90% off so it's less than a dollar each with free shipping. They have a 90% off for ordering 2 or more items so 2 x back screen protectors will be $1.40 with free shipping. If you want a installation kit, you can pay $.40 more each and get full body protectors.
