iPhone 6 Plus Too Hot?

Has anyone else noticed that their iPhone gets really hot when charging?

I'm using a standard Apple Lighting Cable, not a generic one from Walmart or something.

I tried turning off location services hoping that would help as well.

I start to think this is ios 8 issue and not the phone. Some people using ipad Air and iphone 5s also reported this

iPhone 6 Plus Too Hot?

I can confirm mine doesn't get hot while charging. In fact I don't have issue with the heat on the 6 plus. It gets just a bit warm when i restore or do some heavy task
