Iphone 6 preorder debut factory unlock?

Will the iphone 6 factory unlocked be sold on preorders? I don't plan to go on or renew my Atnt contract. Anyone have any info? I don't see "sim-free" like how iPhone 5s did.

Also was the iPhone 5s factory unlock sold on the first day?

Was in the UK. I believe it wasn't in the US.
