I know that batteries tend to react to cold and I experienced it once with my iPhone 6 when the temperature outside was -15C. It was three months ago, no other side effects after this occurrence, at least until yesterday when it shut down randomly twice (yesterday and this morning).

With the temperature around +5C and phone in my pocket it shut down randomly: I got it out to take a photo and only managed to send it as it shut down a second later (oddly enough, in both cases, yesterday and today, it shut down after taking a photo, but I doubt that's relevant :D). While trying to boot it up again only the "battery dead" screen would appear. After a minute or two I managed to reboot it, but it shut down again. When I returned home, it was ok again, battery untouched, however while trying to reply to a message ten percent disappeared in less than a second.

What's funny, both times it died I wasn't outside for that long. In the evening, yesterday I went for a 1,5 h walk, with no problem. Today, however, same thing happened.

I am quite perplexed right now. I might add that for some time now I've experienced it gets hot pretty easily after usage, did anyone experience similar thing with their phone? Should I replace my battery? Can this be software thing? I am going to try reinstalling 9.2.1, but I doubt it changes anything.

I have it since last December, so it's been a year and a bit now.
