iPhone 6 Release Date Approximately?

After seeing that article about the "testing up to 6 inch screens" it seems inevitable Apple will release a different, bigger-screened, perhaps thinner iPhone after the 5S. How long of a wait would there be if say one were to skip over the release of the 5S and wait for the 6? Will it require waiting till next September?
