iPhone 6 retail availability

Hey guys, i'm going to be in new york next weekend and I was planning on getting an iPhone 6 then.
Does anyone know if there are still lines in front of the apple retail stores? Do you guys think I'll be able to walk in and buy one?

What about at AT&T corporate stores? I'll be able to buy my iPhone 6 64GB on Monday the 29th, but I want to do it at an AT&T store. We are making some complicated plan changes, and Apple ****ed up a simple cross upgrade last time, so we would rather deal with the phone company directly. Does anyone have any idea if they might have decent stock early next week?
