
My theory explaining the antenna bands is that the iPhone 6 will have glass on the top and bottom antenna bands, just like the iPhone 5/5s.
The image above shows protruding lens, and the rather ugly looking rubber band filling in the gap around the top and bottom antenna gaps.
The reason for the cutout gap - which the rubber band like material fills in most photos - is so the glass can be glued securely without glue appearing on the underneath of the glass (hence why it continues around the very edges of the phone). The rubber band material looks like its protecting the shell gaps from dust so when the glass is added it sits flush.
This means that the protruding camera lens will actually sit flush with the glass and so the complete back of the iPhone 6.
