My boss has a 64 GB iPhone 6. I had him upgrade to iOS 9 a few days after it came out. Since then he has been have trouble getting his contacts to show when he does a spotlight search. His phone is currently running 9.0.2. I've tried turning off all the options in Spotlight Search, under search results. Then I powered down the phone for one minute, then powered it back up. After the phone restarted, I turned on contacts in spotlight search. He was then able to use Spotlight search to find a contact.

Today he comes to me and tells me its not working again. I verified that the contacts couldn't be searched and again turned off everything in Spotlight Search. After powering the phone down, and restarting it, and turning Contact on in Spotlight search, the contacts are searchable again.

What else can I do to keep Spotlight search working?
