Iphone 6 T mobile with bad IMEI

I would like to ask if I got a T mobile iPhone 6 or 6 plus with bad IMEI, will it work with SIM cards outside US. and will it be different if nonpayment or stolen/lost?

Morals aside, yes, I believe it can be used overseas. Not by any carriers in the US, as they share blacklists now.

It can only be used overseas if it's unlocked.
