All:

I backed up my iPhone 6 which is running iOS 9.0.1 while the 6s+ was updating to 9.0.1 from 9.0. Afterwards I tried to restore the most recent iPhone 6 update to the new iPhone 6s+ and it kept failing. iTunes reported an error and shortly after the restoring message appeared on the iPhone 6s+ it crashed and rebooted itself. Attempts to recover from this were futile. I tried restarting the Mac, etc.

iTunes kept telling me that the back was either 1) corrupt or 2) incompatible with the new iPhone 6s+.

I'm running all the latest updates and the GM release of OS X 10.11 which I've had a lot of problems with. I think when Apple releases OS X 10.11 it will be hell on earth. :p

Anyhow anyone else encounter this restoration problem?

Luckily I was able to sync the iPhone 6 to iCloud back up one last time and so far the iPhone 6s+ is restoring just fine using it. Boy was that good news for me. Right now its on the app load stage and that should be done by the time I wake up.

Thanks!
