iPhone XS iPHONE 6 to XS.. Transfering Certain Contacts..

Hi, I just got a new XS..

I have opted to set up as new iphone and set up a new icloud... Clean start...

I have 900+ contacts in my old 6, any way I can transfer just certain contacts? Like a tick box method would be good? I can't manually input 100 or 200 numbers, would take 5 years!!!

Any free software or anything?

On your current iCloud account can’t you just select contacts and have everything else turned off, so it just syncs your contacts and nothing else?

Go to iCloud online using a web browser, export them to the computer and then take the contact files I think VCF format and then re-import them to the new iCloud account.....from what I’m seeing here you’re using a new Apple ID

Or if you’re using the same Apple ID you can do the same thing too

You just have to do hold control and highlight them blue and keep the ones you want

Sorry I miss read your post.

If you don’t need all the contacts you could delete the ones you don’t need from your iCloud account and then it will sync the ones you need.

Just an idea, glad you got it sorted tho

You’re welcome. I don’t think most people know how much you can do on iCloud.com using a web browser

Lastly anyway to text message all contacts easily without having to presss everyones name.. ?
