iPhone 6: Unresponsive Vibrate/Silent Switch?

Hi Folks -

My 128gb iPhone 6 (purchased launch day) now experiences an issue where the silent switch will intermittently not respond to toggling (which is bad, because I think my phone is quiet, or will make a noise, then it doesn't). In addition to this, I've noticed the switch has a very subtle 'wobble'.

I've noticed iFixit sells both a new ribbon cable for the buttons as well as new buttons -- anyone ever attempted this swap

I wouldn't recommend you tried it unless you knew what you were doing/had clear enough instructions, otherwise you could cause more damage to it/render it unusable. Did you have AppleCare on the phone?
