I was thinking of posting it earlier but I thought it would have been premature...

Is it gonna be the 5 or the 6 now?

I only posted this as others are discussing in a similar thread Nx I would like to see some %

It will be released about a year after the iPhone 5S. And just so you know, the 5S will SUCK because it will just be an incremental upgrade. Apple's really going to blow it and everyone's going to move to Android and Popsicle in disgust.

lol this was the thought before people knew pre-orders smashed record.

its a different story since oct 7th- when pre-orders started and oct 14th when they were actually released.

They are selling like hot cakes- and continue for a while

iPhone 5

October 5th, 2012.

OP, why is 2013 even an option? Do you really think Apple will skip the entire year? lulz

Anyone who thinks it's coming out next summer is ****ed in the head. Why do you think Apple has pushed the iPhone update to October, just to move it back next year?

It'll be Fall 2012. iPads in Spring.

This, a thousand times, this.

There are a number of likely reasons why Apple moved the iPhone release date, but the biggest one is this: by moving the iPad and iPhone release dates six months apart, Apple minimizes the chances of one cannibalizing the sales of the other. Apple makes maximum money this way.

The iPad and iPhone release dates are now locked together, six months apart; if one changes, the other will, too.

Either fall 2013 or fall 2014.

iPhone 6 won't come out next year. It will be the iPhone 5. Unless you're referring to the 6th version of the iPhone (meaning the iPhone 5). You should be clearer in your question OP.

If there is a 5S, it will likely come out fall 2013, pushing the iPhone 6 back to fall 2014 (assuming they keep their fall release dates). Subject to change, of course.
