My daughter has told me her iphone will not turn on, i've looked at it and it shows no signs of damage i tried connecting to Itunes but it said it didn't recognaise the computer and it was sending a code to her phone, which i obviously didn't get because i can't access her phone. I followed some advice online and tried a soft reset, hard reset and then plugging into itunes and holding the home and power button etc but nothing works it just stays black doesn't eve show the connect to itunes message. I don't think she has updated her ios could that be why its not working and is there a way to fix it?

Thank you in advance.

Your best bet may be to book in with a Genius appointment at your local Apple store - if the soft and hard resets aren't working then you may have a hardware issue.

Best of luck

Sounds like a hardware issue. Not upgrading iOS version doesn't kill a phone.
