iPhone 6Plus Connect/Disconnect when connected to rMBP

Hey,

I am using the MacbookPro in my signature and every time I connect my iPhone6 Plus via USB to it, it constantly connects/disconnects. We are talking a matter of seconds, it's like click,click,click.. so no way to import pictures or do anything.
I tried another phone and had the same result.
I tried another cable and had the same result.
I tried all USB ports - same results.
I use the USB ports for my external drives - no issues.

Any idea whats wrong?
