After having terrible battery life on my current iphone 6s, I decided to change the battery, opting to do so myself.

I managed it without too much trouble - the battery was a bit difficult due to the sheer amount of glue, but changed it over successfully.

The trouble is when I turn the phone back on, it lights up, the screen comes up white and the apple logo comes up - great all looking fine at this point - but then as soon as I let go of the power button button the screen goes dark.

The screen is still getting power, because the backlight is still on, but it wont load up.

I've tried doing a hard reset which did nothing, and I've stripped the phone and rebuilt it 3 times now, including checking and rechecking the 4no connectors to the screen, but I still have the same issue.
