Hello there, I have kept my iPhone 6S for almost 3 years and it has done me with good use until now. Yesterday, I accidentally dropped my phone on the ground and only managed to crack the screen protector. This is a good end to the story right? Well no, because I woke up this morning and saw that my battery was at 48%. I charged it a bit and restarted the phone. It jumped to a 86%, but jumped down to 83% in a minute. When I checked the Battery Usage app, I saw that Settings took 81% of the battery and Home & Lock Screen took 19%.

Take it to an Apple Store or an otherwise reputable repair shop, to get the battery replaced. After 3 years your device would be due a new battery anyway.

Don’t plug in/charge your phone either. Just turn it off if you can.
