I'm using 6s 128gb Gold with the TSMC chip.
I noticed that while charging, the battery percentage won't update but the lightning icon shows up indicating that the phone is charging. To reflect the true battery status, I have to reboot the phone. On the iPhone forum at apple.com, a lot of owners have the same issue.
I did all possible troubleshooting methods: reboot, reset/delete, set as new iPhone. Issue still persists. Not so bothersome as I can always reboot the phone after plugging it in for 2 hours for it to show that it's been charged fully.
Is this a hardware or software issue?
