Carrier iPhone 6S carrier models

So the iPhone 6 was fully interchangeable between all 4 major carriers here in the US, same model was sold from each. However with the 6S it seems different. Clarification please? Is it still the same way actually or will you get situations where a 6S from one carrier won't work correctly on another? Just generally curious.

Fairly sure that Sprint had a somewhat different model than the rest actually for the 6/6 Plus.
