iPhone 6s, Full price at Apple store, unlocked???

Hello,

I bought a iPhone 6s from the Apple store.. I paid full price, however on the receipt it shows
iPhone 6s- VZN-USA and on the bottom it shows VZW terms..

Is the phone not unlocked? or is it locked to Verizon only?

Did you buy it from Apple? If yes, what does it show on your receipt ?

if you paid full price and it is 'locked' to verizon, they will unlock it for you without issue b/c you are not on a contract with them. I did the same thing with an AT&T model. As long as I stay w/ AT&T, it's not issue, but if I leave then they will unlock it.

Hey guys. I want to confirm that the AT&T version purchased directly from Apple comes unlocked. I purchased the device only and i was never asked to activate the phone in the store. I put in straight talk sim card and the phone is fully functional.

Stright talk runs on at&t network.. it will work on any at&t phone

if you bought it directly from the apple store as I did today, I had that same question, so I called the apple customer service right now and by the serial number he confirmed it IS UN-LOCKED.

***My other question would be if the pre-order ones paid at full price for At&t are also un-locked???

The Verizon version of the phone is unlocked, period. The FCC regulated Verizon unlock all of their LTE devices per the agreement they made with the government when purchasing the AWS spectrum. This started with the iPhone 5s.

All verizon iPhones come unlocked to begin with. Not 100% but I think Tmo ones do too.

Verizon Iphones are unlocked.

All LTE Verizon phones are out of the box unlocked, regardless of whether you are in a contract or not. It's one of the nice perks of Verizon.
