So my friend's iPhone 6s is Apple iD locked because he forgotten his Gmail account for his Apple iD.
He still knows the Apple iD login and password, but since the latest Apple's security update, the confirmation is sent to his Gmail, where my friend cannot access in order to get that verification. Tried to retrieve the account. But no luck, Google didn't verify that is him. My friend's Gmail last active was in 2010 (where he get his 1st iPad) for Apple ID registration.

Went to the Apple Service Center, with prove of the Iphone's purchase with receipt, they still can't do it. They told us to call Apple's Customer Service.

is there any way how to hard reset the iPhone without need the Apple ID confirmation?

current version: iOS 9.3.5
location: Malaysia

Going through Apple is the only way if Apple ID and recovery email can't be accessed/used.

I don't know why this is posted in the jailbreak forum...like you think there is a tweak to bypass this check...

Your friend has to talk to Apple. It's the only way.

No, there's nothing you can do.
Either try to get access to that gmail account or contact Apple customer service with proof of purchase.

is there anyway using jailbreak to bypass this kind of problem?

Nope, there isn't a jailbreak tweak that can bypass this. And there never will be.

Your friend must go to Apple or Apple Online Support and they will sort it out. Make sure you have proof of purchase and stuff though.

Why would you think the jailbreaking forum could help. Jailbreaking is not about helping people that may have found or stolen an iPhone/iPad.

it's his legit iPhone, got prove of purchase, not stolen or found. He just forgot his Gmail password to access Apple comfirmation to hard reset.

No, its an anti theft security feature.
If it could be bypassed by a JB hack then it wouldnt be much of a security feature right?
All the thieves would be stealing and selling icloud locked iphones and bypassing the icloud lock feature and would be getting top dollar for them.

Then your "friend" should talk to apple or Gmail and ask for help there instead of posting at an iphone hacks section.
People that post here asking to bypass icloud locks are usually shady people with stolen devices that makes up "nice" stories. And they all get the same answer.
They're SOL.

If I had a £/$ for every time I heard that, sorry.

Tell me about it, we'd be rich :D

One thing I noticed...the iPhone is on 9.3.5 anyway...there isn't a jailbreak available for 9.3.5 at this time.

Also yes, your Apple ID can get locked but you can verify yourself by either e-mail or security questions. Ask your friend to go through those security questions. If he/she can't...

Tell your friend to buy a new iPhone. Lesson to be learned, never forget your password.
