So my iPhone 12 suffered a terrible end by falling 14 floors and I need a phone. My local repair shop is selling a first gen Se for $100 and a 6s plus for 180.

Which would you go for? I don't want to get a new 12 since the thirteen is out so this is a filler phone.

Mainly just talk, text, browse reddit and selfies lol I've owned both in the past before so I know how they operate.

They both have the same internals. The screen size is the major difference between those two iPhones. Pick the size that best suits you and enjoy.

6S Plus. 2016 SE is just too tiny for 2021, you aren't going to enjoy much browsing with it to be honest.

If you want to save money and will only use this phone for a few months, and don't mind the shorter battery life, then save $80 and get the first gen SE. Just keep in mind the limited battery life and have a powerbank handy.

If its just a holdover until the 13 arrives, just go for the cheaper option and get the SE for $100. Thats what i would do personally. If screen size is very important to you (as you had the 12), then get the 6s+. Performance will be the same on both with the A9 chip.

Go with the cheaper option, then get the bad boy, industry leading, leaving the competition for dead again, iPhone 13 AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEE pro max 😁😎
