Carrier iPhone 6S plus tones

For some reason even though I have purchased a tone and have it set as my text tone. The default tone only works. Not sure what I can do? I have done a hard reset and nothing works.

For some reason you cannot download purchased tones again so I hope you have a backup.
Anyway, you can see if it is shown in places like this:

If it is not showing up then it would not work. But I guess your issue is more like "even I choose it it just does not work". Mine is manually created and modified and does not see the same issue.

It's selected in the tones list to work. But it's still not working. It'd work one day and the next it's back to default tone.

Then it is quite strange.
Perhaps because it is "purchased", it does not save on an area like my custom tones do. I never purchase a single tone so I am not sure.
