iPhone 6S (+) Predictions

Its that time again to try and predict how many iPhones Apple will sell during the launch weekend. (keep in mind this year Apple has 2 weeks between pre-order and launch weekend so the numbers will naturally higher.

Side note, I wasn't going to upgrade this year until I rematched the iPhone video and heard Jony's soothing voice telling me to upgrade!

Anyone else change their mind about upgrading? What did you upgrade from?

One could hope! especially since we saw leaks sooner this year and I'm sure more countries this launch.

Here's previous launch weekend sales/preorders for comparison:
• iPhone 4______1.7 million
• iPhone 4s_____4 million
• iPhone 5______5 million
• iPhone 5s/5c___9 million
• iPhone 6/6+___10 million
• iPhone 6s/6s+__???

As preorders began a day later than usual, it'd mean 1 less day to be counted in that weekend? But I doubt that'd have much of an impact on the weekend as most people would surely just wait that 1 day and order on Saturday.

It's hard to say, but I'd predict somewhere between 9 and 11 million. I wouldn't expect it to be much higher than last years, but equally I wouldn't be surprised if we actually saw a fall.
