This is a two part question. I casually texted someone's number and also entered their email ( Forgive my ignorance- but they are NOT saved in contacts- Does that scenario make sense?) EDIT: I guess they were partly saved in SOME places but not others! I do not recall where they were, but I have deleted all I can detect!

I wish to remove their number and email from my iPhone 6
but since they are not in contacts, a simple delete is not an option.
But if I enter the first name in the messaging area, their phone number appears. Also their email is still residing in phone... but again, within Contacts their phone, name, nor email, are not there! How to delete this info entirely from phone!?

When you enter their name, number or email in the "To field" in messages, there should be a little (i) at the end. Click that, and there will be a 'remove from recents' button.

That is the "rub"... there IS no tiny "i" (!!) where it is, on many other names!
I have been searching high and low for this topic. I deleted a number of places on the
MBP where I saw the name / number/ email, including iCloud.
