iPhone 6S Space Grey different?

I heard that the Space Grey colour was updated this year on the new iPods. Do you think that they have tweaked it for the 6S? I haven't heard anything from reviewers

The last I read, it was not the 'new' Space Grey like the iPods, but the same as the 6/6+.
 
I wish they had updated it. My SG Watch looks awesome; I don't know how they can really call the iPhone SG when it's more silver than any other SG product they have. It's strange. In the end I'll put a leather skin on it anyway so I guess it really doesn't matter to me.

I don't think it's different. I've watched a number of hands-on videos from the unveiling and not a single comment about it.
 
I was just at microcenter to return some stuff and I saw the dark grey on an iPod for the first time. Man is that a sweet color. I would kill to have that color on my iPhone.

Screw that. I'd kill to have actual black on my iPhone.

P.S. Check out Neucase, a firm in Los Angeles. They have a service where you can choose the colors you want and they will swap your case out for that.

They have a Black Matte option where the case is solid black with black antenna bands. You get your original case back for warranty purposes.

$299 and they have a quick turnaround. Guy from NYC recently did this and he got his phone back fast.

In my personal opinion (no proof) the current iPone Space Gray was an overreaction to scuffgate on the iPhone 5.

Scratches and dents are less noticeable on lighter colors when the anodization process is not deep.

hopefully yes, but probably no.

the color of iPhone 5 is way better than 5s/6. I wish they bring it back.

Black would be sweet as well. They swap out the actual iPhone aluminum casing, or an external case?

If the new docks are anything to go by, and I'm sure they are, it's going to be exactly the same. In the video below, you can see a comparison between the Space Gray dock, a Space Gray iPhone 6 and new Space Gray iPod Touch.

 
I want a genuine space black phone to match my space black watch, thats what I would like to see. The current space gray is boring and very neutral. Of course that being said I ordered a space gray 6S+.
