Iphone 6s to gain animated wallpapers

So excited for this. I love these watch faces on the Apple Watch, so it'll be amazing on the phone. Curious to know if this for sure means an OLED screen.

Jony Ive has said that the "magic" from these animated wallpapers was only possible due to the new display technology (OLED), so I think there is a chance. Personally, I hope they go 1080p now rather than wait for the iPhone 7.

Definitely sounds like the 6s will be getting an OLED display at the minimum, but I'm really hoping it ends up being mLED.

I'm really hoping for mLED or OLED as well. There are a lot of things pointing toward the 6s getting one of those two types of panels, but I could totally see Apple sticking with IPS LCD until the 7.

I could see them sticking with LCD as well. That'd be a massive disappointment though.

I'd be disappointed too. I really like the AMOLED display on my Moto X, it looks awesome! If they did make the move to mLED, I'd be incredibly excited for the 6s.
