hey all.

I'm having trouble with my 6s lately. the touch screen just stops working after a while of usage .
usually happens after long phone calls or gaming (like PUBG).

so when this happens the home button works and the phone responds to other buttons but the touchscreen seems frozen and the upper back seems a little hot (not extreme).

what I do in result is turn of the display for a bout 4-5 min and then everything seems fine and goes back to normal.

whats going on? is it the cpu? battery? (my battery is at 1400 capacity so its not super..) should I replace the battery? cpu?

thanks for the help guys..

Take it to the Aople store. It shouldn't do that.
Thanks for the reply... I’m not in a reaction that has one , plus I’m out of warranty and I don’t want to pay much for repair (rather do it myself)...I’m just trying to figure out what the fault is...

Without a proper diagnosis you may replace parts that are unnecessary. Apple will diagnose the issue for free, you don’t have to have the repair done if you don’t want to. You could restore the phone as new through iTunes just to rule out a software issue.

Without an Apple store near you will need to go to a third party. I think the 6 had a recall for non-responsive screens but not positive.
