iPhone 6S will connect to wifi, but no internet

I've had my iPhone 6S for about a year and it worked fine on my home network until a few days ago. It will still connect to my word network and get internet access, but while it connects to my router at home, there is no internet connection. I've already reset the network settings and reset my router. What's the problem?

are you able to hookup a laptop or desktop directly to the router and get connection?
