How much do you get out the box?

I bought th 256GB 7 plus and I have about 120GB available so I'm thinking i really don't need all this space so for the iphone 8 i may return to 128GB phone. Seems pointless paying £100 extra for something i don't use.

Mine was around 121 or 122 out the box. If I added up the available and used it comes to 121.5GB

To state the obvious, you won't be able to fit what you currently have on your 256GB on a 128GB, so unless you plan to delete a lot of stuff I would say you do need 256GB.

I got 121.69 out of the box. I only have about 25GB of free space and I pay for 200GB of iCloud storage. I don't have to delete things, I've got everything I want on the phone but I'll definitely get 256GB for the iPhone 8. I only got the 128GB this time round as I wanted it on launch day and would have to wait to get the 256GB.

My god! What do you guys keep on your phones?! Lol. This is my first 128gb phone and I have about 90gb left I only bought this coz 16gb wasn't cutting it anymore, and I thought 32 might not be enough.

Well, you have 120gb out of 256. So you're using 136gb. Pretty sure 136 won't go in to 128 without deleting something. Seems like you need that 256 to me.

Well, you have 120gb out of 256. So you're using 136gb. Pretty sure 136 won't go in to 128 without deleting something. Seems like you need that 256 to me.

On the latest iOS (10.3), w/ the new file system- you get 124gb out of the 128gb.

I keep my entire music collection on my iPhone. 110 GB.
