I can't tell if this is an iPhone 7 issue or Apple battery case issue, but lately the case will just stop charging the phone. Scenario: I pull my phone, in it's case, off the charger and go about my day; Full charge. Usually after a couple of hours and only running the music app, I'll notice my phone battery is depleting. The case is still around 90% charged. The lightning bolt icon is still there, and the phone battery drops in charge. My go to solution has been to reset the phone which, in general, works but this is happening on a daily basis; Too much in my opinion. Sometimes, I've had to reset more than once in a day. I've tried multiple combinations of removing the phone from the case, shutting phone off & on again, and resets. Any ideas?

So, I decided to pull the plug and do a full clean restore on my phone. This did not fix the issue. I am now considering that my case has gone bad. When it has juice, my phone runs pretty warm (sometimes hot) doing simple tasks; i.e. Playing music, sending texts, viewing twitter. This is quite abnormal for my phone. However, when the case drains completely I can use my phone for simple to more ram heavy tasks without this occurring. Fingers crossed; I've ordered a new case.
