iPhone 7+ Apple Leather Case on 8+?

I bought a 7+ black Apple Leather case when I picked my 8+ as AT&T didn’t have any of the new 8+ branded ones. To me it seems to fit way too tight on the phone, I know it is leather and will loosen, but taking it off is really tough and leaves black marks from the leather on the 4 corners (which wipe away). Also the ringer switch opening seems just a tad off. Does anybody know if the 8+ version was revised? Anybody else use a 7+ leather case on a 8+ and have issues?

No but I bought a third party case 7+/8+ so hoping it fits better than expected.

I’ve used a Speck clear and a leather case, both from my 7.
I’ve not encountered a problem.

I’m using my old 7 Plus Apple leather case on my new 8 Plus and it fits nice and tight. I think on the Apple site it says the 7 plus cases fit the same.

8+ is only 0,2mm thicker than the 7+

There is a good chance that they made it slightly larger so that it will fit both phones. Others have complained about the same thing.
