I used a clear back skin for 4 years on my 4, 4S, 5, and 5S. From Power Support (3) and best skins ever (1).They did a flawless job of preserving the phone from scratches. I did not use a skin on the 6 or 6S partially because I stopped caring and partially because the rounded side made them less practical.

What was the consensus best skin for the 6 and 6S? I'm willing to at least try a clear back skin on my iPhone 7 Jet Black. I'd take one that has cutouts/flaps for the rounded edge or one that is flat only for the flat only part of the iPhone back.

I had one on my 6 for about 18 months. Overall it was very good. you really couldn't tell it was there. A couple of the "flaps" came loose over time. I just cut them off. When i finally removed it it did leave a sticky residue that required some goo off to remove. I may get one on the 7+ i ordered

Hardest part is getting a good initial install. i suggest a hair dryer. They are great for a naked look with scratch protection.
