iPhone 7 data spinning wheel issue

I have the iPhone 7 jet black version. I came across two issues. One is that sometimes the data spinning wheel on the top left corner will not go away even when all apps are closed and only way to fix it is turn the phone off and on. Second issue is most of the time I have my phone off when I go to bed and when I turn it back on it takes a good 2min to turn on as if it's stuck on the apple logo but it's not. I'm running most recent update

Both of you try logging out of iCloud and back in.

Check the battery app and see what is using the most power. Sounds like something is going on in the background.

I have that too sometimes, on my 6S+. I haven't figured out yet what triggers it. Seems to be an iOS 10 rather than an iPhone 7 issue.
