hi all!

I just upgraded from the iPhone 5 to the 7 and liking it so far

I set it up at work this morning and used a USB charger while I was restoring from iTunes.

I'm now at 68% battery. I've read it's good to let it fully die the first time using it and then fully charge.

Does anyone have any insight?

Also is there any issues using a cable plugged into my computer at work every day and leaving it plugged in? Is it better to use a wall charger?

Does it Matter if I use apple products or 3rd party?

Thank you

No, modern lithium batteries do not like to be fully drained.

Won't hurt it to leave it plugged in at work.

Wall chargers will charge faster, and an iPad or 3rd party charger capable of 10w (2A) will charge the quickest. Otherwise, no difference.

Quality 3rd party chargers work just fine.
